Projects 2003

Funds provided by the Gerald Foundation:

  • Kitchen, toilet and a water-collecting tank for a primary school in a Lahu village. € 3.540 (170,000 baht)
  • Flight of stairs for a Lahu primary school € 1.375 (66,000 baht)
  • Three scholarships for middle school students from the Lahu people € 625 (30,000 baht)


Funds provided by Samsara and projects carried out in collaboration with Rotary Chiang Mai South:

  • Educational support for eight orphans whose parents died of aids € 2.166 (104,000 baht)
  • Blankets, toys and medicines for 33 schools €1.000 (48,000 baht)


Individual contributions:

  • Floor in school building €260 (12,500 baht)


Grand total: 430,500 baht (€8,966)
