New projects Samsara In 2008 Samsara embarked on a new program, called “Tomorrows Leaders”. Hill Tribe children from the mountains with top school results will be offered an opportunity to continue their studies after middle school with six years of Vocational School or High School; and for those who qualify College or even University. The goal of the “Tomorrows Leaders” program is for these students to obtain jobs, which require a higher education and the ability to occupy leading positions in their community. read more

Costs of capital goods
One Study Centre/Library with furniture and books 400,000 baht (13300 US$ or € 8500)
One canteen with furniture and kitchen equipment: 275,000 baht ( 8350 US$ or  € 5400)

One dormitory (40) incl. mattresses and bedding:

250,000 baht ( 7350 US$ or  € 5400)

One dormitory (100) incl. bunk beds and bedding:

800,000 baht (25800 US$ or € 17000)

One concrete water storage tank:

50,000 baht ( 1650 US$ or  € 1100)

One water treatment set:

35,000 baht ( 1110 US$ or  €  750)

Kitchen and canteen equipment:

15,000 baht ( 500 US$ or € 350)
A bunk bed, mattresses, bedding: 10,000 baht (  320 US$ or €  210)

Costs of scholarships
3 years middle school or high school:  400 Euro or   550 US$
3 years Vocational School 700 Euro or 1150 US$

Samsara generally guarantees each student a full scholarship for the three years required for middle, high and vocational schools.
